About fairywren studios

fairywren studios was founded with a simple mission. We want to help create companies that are useful, scalable, and impactful.

The idea for fairywren studios started with two friends. After constantly talking about opportunities for businesses, inefficencies in existing companies and processes, we decided to act.

fairywren studios is a venture studio, primarily starting companies and scaling them, then putting in place executive management. We have a model that has been successful over the past, with both friends being experienced scaling companies from nothing or very little to be extremely large.

Investing and building

One of the key attributes that started us working together was that we love building things, and love investing. There is a key overlap here, which is extremely useful. When building a company, there are things that an investor looks at which can give a slightly different focus to someone just looking from a problem or product point of view. We believe we can straddle this middle ground extremely effectively.

Another lovely thing about investing and building is that we have wanted quite a few tools in our past lives, and current lives. We have built various tools, and offer them here for you to use. Our primary objective here is not to make money, but to provide something useful. If they become popular we may look to monetise them effectively.

We have built a fully functional cap table tool. You can create a cap table in about 20 seconds, it can handle different types of shares (common, preference), handle ESOP (even manage your esop), handle debt instruments. It will calculate the current cap table, tell you about your waterfall and dilution. Give it a go. Captable
